Filesystem access: Depending on how you configure it, the emulator may be able to access parts of your host filesystem (for example when using directory mounts). For best safety, consider:

Using a dedicated “Amiga” folder (only mount folders you trust)
Mounting in read-only mode where possible
Keeping backups of important files before experimenting with new builds

If you’re unsure, run PiE-UAE against a copy of your data first, or keep it sandboxed to a safe folder.
